Terms of Service
The terms for using Tringine, and what to honestly expect from a small service.
Draft — pending legal review. This document is a working draft and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It describes how Tringine actually works, but do not rely on it as final legal advice yet. Last revised 22 July 2026.
These terms govern your use of Tringine, a custom Bible builder run by Publifye AS. By creating an account or buying build credits, you agree to them. They work together with our License and Privacy policy.
Your account
You sign in with a Publifye account (our shared login, Lighthouse) — one account works across our services. Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity under your account.
What a build and a build credit are
- A build produces one finished edition — its files together (a print-ready PDF, light and dark screen-reading PDFs, and an EPUB3).
- One build spends one credit, whatever mix of those files you choose to take. It is never priced per file.
- A free, watermarked preview spends nothing and is always available.
- If a build is rejected before it runs (for example, an invalid selection), no credit is charged.
Personal build credits
The Personal pack is a one-time purchase of build credits. Personal build credits are valid for 30 days from purchase. They are non-refundable, and any credits you have not used within those 30 days lapse — they expire and are not returned or refunded.
The organization tiers (Congregation and Sponsored) are annual, expiring entitlements with a generous soft cap, described on the store and in your License.
No refunds
All sales are final. We do not give refunds of any kind. In particular:
- No refund after a build has completed.
- No refund for build credits you have not used.
- No refund for credits that have expired or lapsed.
Please use the free watermarked preview to check your design before you spend a credit.
Downloads and retention
When a build finishes, its files are stored for about 60 days. Within that window you can re-download them for free, as many times as you like, from your account. After the retention window the stored files are deleted; the files you have already downloaded remain yours to keep under the License.
Availability — an honest expectation
Tringine is a small service, and we set honest expectations rather than promise an uptime we cannot guarantee. The service is provided on a best-effort, "as is" basis. There is no guaranteed uptime or enterprise-grade SLA. We may take the service down for maintenance, and builds run in a queue, so a build takes a few minutes — longer for a whole Bible or a parallel edition.
Builds depend on the Darash Scripture service. If Darash is briefly unavailable, a build in progress is paused and resumes automatically when Darash returns — you keep your credit and nothing is lost. We are not liable for delays or interruptions outside our reasonable control.
Acceptable use
Please use Tringine reasonably. Do not:
- Use it to break the law, or to infringe anyone's rights;
- Resell your builds or offer them for sale (see the License — builds are for private or in-organization use only);
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or circumvent the service, its queue or its access controls;
- Share your account or resell access to it.
We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service.
Scripture translations
The Scripture text is composed from third-party or openly licensed translations from the Darash corpus — public-domain, Publifye-owned, or openly licensed (including Creative Commons, such as CC BY-SA). Each translation's own licence governs its text, and the colophon of every build records the exact source and credit. See the License for the full detail.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Publifye AS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data. The service and its outputs are provided "as is", without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The current version always lives at this page, with its revision date below.
