Your license
Every build is a private edition for personal use — the typeset PDF and EPUB are yours to print and keep through any printer (Lulu, KDP, a local shop). The text is composed from public-domain or Publifye-owned translations.
On the Congregation and Sponsored tiers you may also distribute your builds inside your organization — hand them to your members and ministries. That is not resale: builds are never for sale, on any tier.
No refunds once a build has completed. Credits and annual entitlements are per account.
Applying for the Sponsored tier
The Sponsored tier is not sold self-serve. It is granted on application for congregations that need support, or gifted by a donor for a named church. Tell us about your congregation and we will set it up — 35 builds a year for three years.
Questions
What do I get for $8?
Three build credits. Each credit produces one finished Bible — a print-ready 6×9 PDF and an EPUB3 — for the translation and scope you choose. Credits stack when you buy again.
Can I sell the Bible I build?
No. Builds are private editions and are never for resale, on any tier. On the Personal tier you may print copies for yourself and your household. On the Congregation and Sponsored tiers you may also distribute your builds inside your organization — hand them to your members and ministries — which is not resale.
What tiers are there?
Three. Personal is $8 one-time for 3 stacking build credits — perfect for an individual. Congregation is $280 per year (kr 2 990) for 100 builds a year, a self-serve annual entitlement that you renew each year. Sponsored is a supported tier — $84 once covers 35 builds a year for 36 months — granted on application or gifted by a donor for a named congregation.
How do the Congregation and Sponsored tiers work?
Both are annual build entitlements rather than credits. Congregation gives 100 builds each year (a generous soft cap — you can go a little over near year-end, then renew). Sponsored gives 35 builds a year for three years. When your yearly entitlement ends it stops granting builds; a Congregation renewal simply adds another year on top.
I have both credits and a tier — which is used first?
Your active organization entitlement (Congregation or Sponsored) is always spent first, while it is valid and within its cap. Your personal credits are the fallback and are only touched once no active entitlement build is available — so nothing is ever wasted.
How do I get the Sponsored tier?
It isn’t sold self-serve. Congregations that need support can apply, or a donor can gift it for a named church. Email hello@publifye.com and tell us about your congregation, and we’ll set up 35 builds a year for three years.
Is there a free preview?
Yes. You can generate a free, watermarked sample of a single book before buying — no account required.
Which translations can I choose?
Any public-domain or Publifye-owned translation in the darash corpus. Latin-script languages (English, Spanish, German, Latin and many more) and Hebrew are supported — Hebrew builds (the Westminster Leningrad Codex) are typeset right-to-left with a proper Hebrew font. Hebrew works in parallel too: you can pair it with a Latin translation (for example a Norwegian or English text alongside the Leningrad Codex), and each verse is stacked line by line — every translation on its own line, the Hebrew line right-to-left, the Latin lines left-to-right. The Leningrad Codex covers the Old Testament. The picker lists what is available.
How long are my downloads available?
Finished builds are kept for 30 days and can be re-downloaded any number of times from your account within that window.
